Evidence of this bands' whereabouts included a brief stop at the haunted Le Blanc studios in New Jersey this year for the recording of their debut CD "Notice". The poets are nomadic, On the run from the oppression of normalcy, ties, lies and pop up video. They leave a handful of CD's in each town they visit.
Establishments in College Station, Texas, Erwin, NC, Trenton, NJ, Negril, Jamaica, Columbus OH, and Ontario, California have all been mystified at dawn when "Notice" decorates their club or eatery as if toilet paper on mischief night. Fugitive poets believe in fugitive poets.
The songs on "Notice" are built around the creative imagery in the lyrics of M.J. Spoke and Alias with world class instrumentation provided by guitarist Ernesto Le Blanco and drummer Bob Raewood. Guest musicians include guitarist Keyser Soze, bassist Harvey Ribsam, vocalist Jane Dough, harp player Diet Smoke and the infamous "Little Cat". "We're not sure how to describe "Notice", says Spoke. Progressive rock, Classic rock, Folk rock? 00's Rock? I don't know what any of that means, so I'll just tell people it's the best CD they've never heard. If that doesn't make someone listen to it, I'm not going to be the one to fish his or her head out of the sand. We as people never wish to be marketed, but we want everyone to know these tunes, because they're worth it."
