I met Mike in 2001 when he and I first collaborated on some of his early country compositions. He needed a vocalist and I wanted to record a few of my own songs, so a long lasting friendship and partnership was established. I consider Mike a brother. I was very impressed by his ability to quickly transform an idea into a song utilizing his skills as an accomplished guitarist, percussionist and arranger, and making that idea a tangible entertaining entity.
