Bio / Background
Yusuke Ushijima is a Japanese artist handling lyrics, composition, a vocalist and various musical instrument performances by himself.
He was interested in music from the teenage beginning and has begun to make music.
Acoustic guitar is his main performance musical instrument. He plays a piano, a base, a synthesizer besides a guitar, too. Sometimes he who loves sound very much makes music by using of various tools such as a ball of a plastic pipe and kitchen freely.
He is affected by many musicians such as Beatles, Syd Barrett, Bob Dylan, Tamio Okuda(奥田民生), Keiichi Suzuki(鈴木慶一) until now.
He is affected by Monty-Python and Japanese traditional comic storytellers such as Bunraku Katsura(桂文楽), Shinsyo Kokontei（古今亭志ん生)and Danshi Tatekawa(立川談志) besides the field of music.
Furthermore, he is strongly interested in literature. By the way, the novelists whom he loves and respects are Samuel Beckett, Bret Easton Ellis and Donald Barthelme.
