artist biographies
Dobe (Dena) Ressler, clarinet,
is an instructor at KlezKamp, and has taught both at the New England Conservatory's (NEC) Klezmer Institute and a course on Yiddish music history.

Pete Rushefsky, tsimbl,
is a leading revivalist of his instrument and performs and records with some of the finest practitioners of traditional klezmer music. A popular instructor at KlezKamp and KlezKanada, to date he has two CDs to his credit.
Brian Bender, trombone, melodica,
has performed klezmer music at Carnegie Hall, the Presidential Inauguration of Bill Clinton, and in Israel, Alaska and Egypt. An NEC graduate and a performer in great demand, Brian regularly plays with stars of the klezmer revival, and actively performs world music, jazz, Dixieland, and Caribbean Ska.
Rachel Lemisch, trombone,
has performed with many klezmer revival stars . A graduate of NEC, she has a parallel life as an active classical musician performing with the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia. She is the descendant of an old and venerable line of klezmorim from Yassi/Iasi,Romania
Matthew Wulf, accordion,
has worked as a musical director and pianist at regional and community theaters in New England, and in the South. Matt also served on the orchestration staff of Harvard's annual Hasty Pudding Show from 1997 to 1999.
Terry Traub,accordion, fiddle,
has performed throughout North America, Asia, and Scotland for over twenty years in concerts, dances, and weddings both as a band leader and musician. He is a long-standing performer and teacher at Pinewoods Dance Camp and is deeply involved in Celtic and American folk music.
Paul Becker, accordion (cut 17), plays accordion with Der Greine Cousine, West Virginia's preeminent klezmer band.
Richard Seidel, bass (cut 17),
is a member of Klezcentricity (with David Julian Gray, co-founder of the Klezmorim , the group that recorded the klezmer revival 's first album), and plays bass and cello with Shalshelet, which specializes in the performance of original Jewish music.
