Bio / Background
The local newspaper the Argus Leader says "Wumpus wallows in the weird" and "Wumpus may be the most refreshing band in Sioux Falls." and "infuriating". Of Wumpus' debut album N.O.T.E.S. Robert Morast had this to say, "Artsy, silly and cool in an Art Bell sort of way, Wumpus manages to blend surf rock grooves, country rhythms, and alien conspiracy lyrics with Captain Beefheart-like musical eccentricities in a way that actually mixes well."
