Wiretree's debut EP blends together the best elements of Rock, Pop, Folk - with a dash of Psychedelia.
Bio / Background
Wiretree is singer/songwriter Kevin Peroni. He began working as Wiretree in 1994 crafting his lo-fi power pop in his bedroom studio while holding a daytime job as a Programmer in Austin, Tx. After writing for several years, songs began to accumulate, resulting his first self-titled EP, released in early 2005, essentially a sample of homemade demos.
Growing up in Corpus Christi, TX Peroni played guitar, keyboards, and/or bass in a succession of local bands in his teen years, heavily influenced by The Cars, The Beatles and later Radiohead, Sparklehorse and Jason Falkner. In addition to Wiretree, he works with various side projects including the bands Your Basic Pleasure Model and New Holland.
