INTRO
Wing Yee, born under the sign of Virgo, better known simply as Wing, is a singer/songwriter and guitarist based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. He can speak and sing fluently in English, French and Chinese. Wing was born in Quangzhou China, grew up in Hong Kong and immigrated to Canada with his parents at a young age in search of a better life.
INFLUENCES
Wing came from a non musical family and is a self taught vocalist/musician. He was intrigued by the Beatles and moved by Carlos Santana. Wing grew up listening to some of the most influential pop vocal groups from the 70’s to the present day such as the Bee Gees, Carpenters, Air Supply and Backstreet Boys. Wing is a baritone tenor and has a vocal range similar to the Beatles, Chris de Burgh, Gilbert O’Sullivan, Paul Simon, Billy Joel, James Blunt and Michael Bublé.
