Bio / Background
Steve Wickenton in an enriched singer, songwriter and musician of the folk/pop genre who writes and performs songs that explore the world we live in on many different levels. Steve's varying guitar techniques that draw from classical to rock and his soul filled vocals, bind together shifting his songs into journeys that lead the listener through many changes and experiences of life.
Gentle yet powerful, Within Now is a concept album that explores the ritual of life, based on the energies and beliefs of the ancient medicine wheel. Within Now is an ever changing CD that rides the emotions of fear, happiness, anger and love across blue skies and through dark earthen caverns settling peacefully back to ground with a sense of wellbeing, and self acceptance.
