Bio / Background
the metamorphosis is the second album from the post-industrial band, vx. fusing a number of styles ranging from classic industrial to rock to breakbeat/drum-n-bass, the metamorphosis takes turns that you'd never expect, all while staying cohesive and listenable.
beginning in 1997 as a studio project, vx became a total creative outlet in a unique musical genre. while utilizing electronic and industrial elements, the music is still highly melodic blending guitars and drums with electronics and ambient soundscapes.
incantation, the first vx project, was released free for download as the metamorphosis began to take shape, and as their musical style became more defined. vx has also had the opportunity to remix wumpscut, slick idiot, and deathboy- remixes are available @ vxmusic.net
