Bio / Background
Biography
As HIPHOP is undoubtedly becoming an international vehicle for political and social change. Fidel is stepping up to become recognized as the Chief Messenger from Milwaukee spreading his art and activism to global reaches.
Fidel’s community involvement and youth initiatives earned him the 2005 Wisconsin Giraffe Award which is given out by The Wisconsin Council of Family and Children to selected individuals who “stick their necks out” for kids. Fidel has also established two community institutions: The SUMMER OF PEACE and HIPHOP SOCIAL CLUB, both which serve the Greater Milwaukee Area as preventative youth programs and educational outlets.
As a traveling entertainer/emcee, Fidel has set the stage and performed with COMMON, KRSONE, TOO SHORT, MIKE JONES, DEAD PREZ, BLACK EYED PEAS, among many others & has even done college circuit lectures on HIPHOP Culture.
