Bio / Background
Moriah-Melin and John Whoolilurie a.k.a. mojow, are the founders of The Vibration Army. Their goal is to connect the worlds of art, music, culture and social activism through interactive outreach performance. They appear at universities, churches, festivals, clubs, rallies and marches with their innovative and original duo.
Their first album "Undivided" was composed, produced and performed by Mojow. Through the use of studio technology, this duo was able to create full horn sections, choirs, world music ensembles, slamming funk-rock bands, and gentle folk arrangements leading the listener through a multi-dimensional journey where an introspective nei flute improvisation is the final destination.
Their stage show consists of them layering vocals, bass, guitar, keyboards, accordion, drums, percussion, saxophones, and other instruments through electronic looping pedals, creating a full band sound. The styles they play include: latin, hip-hop, jazz, rock, world, and funk.
