Charlie Verge is a fresh exciting new artist whose evocative lyrics and melodies are born out of his personal quests to explore the human spirit and the divine in the mysteries of love. From heartbreak to the beauty of rainfall, from falling in love at the end of life to the softness of silence, Charlie writes and sings of the journey of the soul. His unusual guitar tunings offer the perfect resonant backdrop for the stories that shape lives.
Born and bred in the Boston area, Charlie grew up as a child of Passim, the legendary music house, and was deeply impressed by the scores of talented poets and singers who have blessed not only the Club, but musical cobblestone streets of Harvard Square. His intense personal search to grasp the ways of love drove him to become a psychotherapist, and the gifts that came from such service run deep in his heart and in his songs, which often take quite unexpected twists and turns,as life does.When you enter his music,enter with humility and attention.
