A Real Family Setting Art, Love & Life to Music.
Bio / Background
The Veltz Family is bound to be an international phenomenon when the music, the essence of who they are and what they do for people is amplified globally. Simply put, the music makes people happy.
The Veltz Family has been setting their art, love and life to music in the US since a little before the start of the new millennium. From the streets and parks of New York City to the dungeon metal clubs of California; from honky tonk bars of the south to uptown, high art music venues: the overwhelming opinion among Veltz Family fans is that the music inspires people. It makes people happy.
The flawless harmony and blood locked rhythm and groove captured on recordings and expressed at the Veltz's live show, combined with their infectious original pop songwriting, their humor and the band's unique light-hearted approach to performance "fills your heart and soul and makes you glad to be alive." says Eric Brace of The Washington Post.

The Veltz Family is not just another family band. This is not just music. This is an experience; a one and only. This is a book. This is a movie. This is history in the making.
Sounds like something so interesting and phenomenal that you should already know about it?
The Veltz Family exists in a particularly difficult industry and musical period for 'a one and only'. They were signed to Atlantic Records, hoping to have found the entity that would help them amplify their unique musical experience. Caught up in a once waffling, now dying industry, amidst mergers and downsizes, Atlantic was desperate to crank out another disposable cash cow in order to keep the lights on, and made suggestions that would have dismantled the very thing that makes The Veltz Family so special.
“The world seems much more beautiful a place when viewed through the eyes of the Veltz’s,” a fan from New York wrote. “All that is good and pure and right in the universe informs every single note.” And another from Nashville says, "It's the total and complete happy honest sincere bliss that exudes from the Family Veltz that makes you an instant fan". A fan from Los Angeles said, "Anytime you want to re-awaken or even wake up part of your soul that needs to be alive, listen to The Veltz Family." A fan who happened into a little cafe wrote the band the next day saying, "Last night my heart opened. Your message of perseverance and strength through vulnerability and human-kindness permeated and inspired my soul. I was fed, and my spirit was moved." The lists of comments like these go on and on, strengthening The Veltz Family's determination to stay the course in bringing their music to life.
In an age when happiness, joy and inspiration seem to be difficult things to find, particularly in music, The Veltz's were not willing to give up the essence of their music to gain momentary fame and fortune. Unlike the typical cases of bands being dropped because album sales and public response were less than label expectations, the band never recorded an album during the two years of being signed. In order to prevent turning into another blip on the music radar, The Veltz Family ignored the label's threats to conform "or else" and they were happily dropped, then beginning a beautiful partnership ... with their fans.
Through their following's loyalty and generosity, the band pulled off two national coast to coast tours and last September, they just completed their first radio ready album "This" independently, co-produced by Grammy winner Scott Hull and mixed by Grammy winner, Kevin Killen. With a state-of-the-art record finally done and a singleness of focus, the family band currently operates out of New York City, continuing to make quality records and play concerts as much as they can, enriching lives one person at a time. But they want more.
Opportunities in television, international touring, unique storytelling avenues and the internet are on the horizon for The Veltz Family. Their belief that they will "connect" is stronger than ever. Musicality and songwriting deepens with every new experience, as they set their story to music, poetically documenting the beauty, love and defiance of what it is to be The Veltz Family.
