Bio / Background
"What About You" is influenced by some favorite artists from over the years- the sounds of The Moody Blues, Pink Floyd, Jarre’, Vangelis and classical symphonies. Produced by Steve Vaile and Aram ‘Hippie’ Cartozian, this special edition EP features "Hippie's Wall Of Sound". The 4-song EP is a taste of a new full-length CD project currently in production. “A homeless man I met recently in Hawaii inspired the title track. "What About You", were the first words that came out of his mouth when I offered him some food.”
“Hurricane Katrina also had a hand in the inspiration of this new CD. The first song I wrote when I was living in Kula, Maui, was “I Want To Make Music”. That was back in 1977 when my life up on the slopes of the Haleakala Crater was glowing with rebirth and expansion.
