Bio / Background
This Vadan recording happened after a few great shows performed in asia with saxaphonist Joe Rosenberg.American drummer Robbin J Harris and swedish bassist Rickard Malmsten did most of the composing on this record date.The playing is great and there is an astounding communication within the group, especially for how few performances they had done together.Recorded in Hong Kong at Stanley Pong's studio late one rainy night in september, this is a free jazz CD for those looking for something organic and pure at heart, a range of emotions are touched on and the CD is a solid performance from this trio.
