Ken Clark's music is an eclectic mix of unusual topics and music styles.
Bio / Background
The Unthinkable perform an eclectic range of songs in the vein of Warren Zevon and Randy Newman. From the outlandish country style "Mama's Dying in the Trailer" to the pop style "Vertigo" and the Latin rhythms of "Monkey Love" Ken Clark's compositions are musical short stories peopled by an odd array of characters confronting the weirdness of ordinary life. His lyrical arsenal includes humor, sentiment, menace, and general weirdness, all of which he mixed and matched in wild ways.
There are lots of really funny songs here, however, The Unthinkable is no novelty act. The Unthinkable display a wide range of original songs which are surprising to hear, funny and inetersting.
