The Walkin' Talkin' Toxins- The stage is littered with inflatable Love-dolls and trampolines, a camouflage backdrop and life-size Tony Montana, the band is ripping through a version of the Velvet Underground classic "Heroin" when gas-masked guitarist Dick Monster breaks into his solo...an acoustic punk-rock chainsaw solo.... Such is the scene for the surrealistic punk-rock guerilla theatre of The Walkin' Talkin' Toxins- Loud, fun, retro and ridiculous. The last remaining undiscovered punk rock band in Detroit, The Toxins bring a unique blend of old-school punk and really good background vocals blended with a unique love-doll driven insanity to their new five song E.P.
