Tristraum's roots began in remixing with the legendary
San Francisco-based Twitch Remix Service in the early 90s. Twitch released 25 remix albums geared towards djs. Acts included Anything Box, The Prodigy, Future Sound of London, T99, D.A.F., Front 242 to name a few.
Tristraum has emerged as a strong writing/production team to create a successful blend of electronic pop and dancefloor grooves. Their debut single "Shiver" combines trance, darkwave, synthpop and techno. A definite dancefloor anthem for underground clubs that program acts such as VNV Nation, Icon of Coil, Apoptgygma, The Cure, Wolfsheim, etc.
The single has nine different remixes of Shiver plus two bonus tracks. Brilliant is a cover version of a classic Boytronic tune. Very 80's new wave sounding.
