Bio / Background
Hello-
Thank you for your interest in my CD. This was a great project for me. So If you don't know me you may want to know some of my history.
I began playing music ten years ago, starting with guitar. In East Lansing, Michigan I started a band called Purple Weed, with Steve Roelof on drums and Chad Riley on Bass. We moved the band west and started playing out of Eugene, OR with Melissa Katz, Brian Senkowski and the late Peter Ellis. That was in 1996 and 97, and weeds do not live forever sadly. I then met Random Rab in Ashland, Oregon. We co-produced a record called Trippy Nick meets Random Rab, it was a great project which led me to my current work.
This record was made in a small bed room in Seattle. I worked with several different drum machines, sequencers and samplers overdubbing live guitar, bass, keyboard and vocals. I'm very proud of the music, if you listen you can catch a little bit of that soul that makes any recording grow on you.
↓ more ↓If you purchase thisd record and love it as much as I do, tell others tell the world. I begin recording my next record in December, but first BUY THIS ONE!
Sincerely,
Nick
