Bio / Background
TranslucenT is the collaboration of multi-instrumentalist Ray Regan and cellist Elaine Kreston. Their new cd, chromosphere, contains original compositions that feature the cello with a rich combination of acoustic, natural and electronic elements: Blackbirds and strings, guitar, mandolin, didjeridu....
From Yoga and Tai Chi practitioners to the frustrated driver longing to transcend rush hour, TranslucenT's music has soothed and inspired many.

More about the individual artists:
Elaine Kreston received her bachelor's degree from the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, and her MM from the University of Texas. She has performed throughout the USA and Europe, including Carnegie's Recital Hall, as soloist on Broadway, Chicago's Orchestra Hall, and broadcasts on NPR and KPFA.
