Bio / Background
TRACEY JAMES MARINO is a pianist and singer, as well as a songwriter and producer. Although classically trained, Tracey plays all styles of music and can learn just about any song "by ear" after listening to it once or twice.
Her songwriting career started at the age of 5, when she wrote her first composition on the piano. At 10, her professional career started when she was asked to sing and play the organ at a small church in Poway, California. Tracey's CD recording of original piano music, "DreamSongs," was inspired by the classical pieces she learned as a child. It includes the song "Dusk To Dawn," which is a composition she wrote when she was 8.
"Although I play and sing just about any kind of music, I really enjoy the complexity of classical music and the tranquility of New Age music. This CD is a blend of these two styles."
The cover for "DreamSongs" is an original watercolor painting by award-winning artist Richard L. Weddleton.
