Bio / Background
"[T]his funky quartet bounces and weaves from clichés with their bass-laden alternative rock sound. You can tell this is one helluva good live band as their songs just jump right out of this album. The group isn’t putting up a façade—this is the real deal and I love it."
- J-Sin (Smother Magazine)
The Passive Aggressives describes not only the dichotomy of the band members, but the music they create -- ready to explode at any moment. This four piece band brings their alternative brand of rock directly from the San Francisco Bay Area. Each member comes from a diverse background of musical tastes and influences.
The Passive Aggressives are not new to the music scene. Three of its members come from the now defunct band Feral Moan, which roamed the Bay Area with alt-rock prowess for four years. With the desire to rise from the ashes with a new voice, they recruited Erin Temel and strapped her to the mic.
↓ more ↓Focused and ready to tour, they recorded an EP at the legendary Hyde Street Studios in San Francisco and have been consistently performing around the Bay Area.
This band is gonna go, go, go and prove to the world that they are fit to be counted as one of the hardest working groups out there. Their fan base is quickly growing with a constant internet presence, a guerilla style marketing campaign, and an adrenaline fueled live show. Their MySpace page is currently boasting around 9,000 friends with rave reviews.
