Bio / Background
Hailing from Providence Rhode Island. Tommy Coma is a four piece metalcore band. The band's unique sound is derived from fusing the best of hardcore, classical and metal. This fusion creates a powerful and moving breed of music.
In spring 2003 Tommy Coma recorded their debut record titled "Set Ablaze" that was released in May 2003. Since the release of "Set Ablaze" the band has toured the Country from Coast to Coast and shows no signs of slowing down.
The key to Tommy Coma's sound comes from the diverse background of the band's members. Singer/Guitarist Tom Reardon comes from a hardcore and metal background. Tommy's guitar skills have the ability to soothe the soul one minute and burn the house the next. Drummer Josh Spears comes from a hard rock and thrash metal background. Josh's thunderous drumming and amazingly fast feet adds a blast of energy to the band's the sound. Guitarist Josh Guleserian comes from a melodic Swedish metal background.
