"Waiting For You", released August 27, 2005 is the second CD from Todd Royce (aka Todd Royce Morton). While it shares an electric guitar focus with his first effort, this album brings a cleanly recorded acoustic guitar to the center of half the songs. Here's what it sounds like in the artist's words:
"It's an organic sounding record. We recorded it in my home studio, which the drummer and I built. We got a natural, ambient "room" sound. Like my first CD, the songs are pop, rock, and blues-rock, with some jazz influence. But on this record I played a lot of acoustic guitar, so I guess you could say there's a folk-rock element, as well. There are quite a few electric guitar solos, but not in every song.
