An unusual blend of instrumental fusion, 80's electronic textured pop, smooth jazz, new age, and good ol' rock and roll
Bio / Background
Todd Rogers has worked in the music industry as a keyboard player and producer with various artists for over twenty years. He has worked as composer, musician, music supervisor, and consultant for independent and major film, television, video, album, and soundtrack productions.
Growing up with the greats, Todd's neighbor was Drum Workshop co-founder, Freddie Gruber. Todd studied ethnomusicology at UCLA from where he received a Bachelors of Arts degree. As a keyboard player he has backed varied musical comedy acts from Ike Willis (of Frank Zappa fame) to Ruth McCartney and Sly Stone at the Comedy Store. In Rio de Janeiro, Todd "sat-in" with legendary jazz drummer Billy Cobham. Todd's first synthesizer was the celebrated Mini-Moog with a resin wheel branded number 535. As keyboards developed over the years, so did Todd.
Check out Earthtones, Todd's debut solo performance.
