Bio / Background

At heart, "Near Impossible," "Nothing," and "Apple" are modest singer-songwriter tunes, but Brawner plays them in the kind of bottomless, dry void that spaghetti-western scores often occupy. Even when the tempo picks up, the record counts on understatement. In an unexpected, sneaky way, it’s already sounding like one of the year’s keeper local releases.
