Bio / Background
In 2003 The Thins, a power trio founded by Gabe Tavares, Brian Dudla and AJ Strauss banged out their first record to 16 track analog at Johnny Dowd’s recording studio “The Shop” and celebrated the release of “Postcard Angels” in a small room with friends. Creative intensity, full throated vocal harmonies and unconventional rhythms are the core of our sound.
