"All About You" was tracked in Ensdorf with the band producing and Micheal from Deathtone Studios Engineering. The album successfully finds that intangible balance between intelligent melodic groove and driving heaviness. Typical of the record is the first single, "All About You" a melodic guitar/ keys balance with riff-driven accents and flowing vocals.

2002 - 2005

In 2002 the band Tu EeZeE was formed which encompassed four of the five members who eventually formed the band The Told. During 2002-2005 the band primarily played music in clubs throughout Germany while JR (guitarist, vocals, and songwriter) was fulfilling his commitment to the U.S. military.

Co-founders JR Lee and Daniel Bruehl (guitarist and songwriter) met while in their twenties. "We were at a concert in my hometown," Bruehl recalls. "During the opening group we met thru mutual friends and later the members of my old band decided to invite JR to play.

It took no time at all before JR was singing for us. I was pretty much blown away, so we asked him to join a band with us." Since that day, the musical relationship has remained dependably loyal. "We have the same vision regarding what we love about music," JR says. "When it comes to songwriting, we finish each other's thoughts." On working with Daniel, JR says that they dove into a new realm together. "We wanted to give the band a unique sound". "It's like taking the Deep Purple keys and combining it with a mixture of Seattle "grunge" and Tool's groove. We think it's pretty cool - we think the public will too".

In the years 1992-94 the Progressive Rock band Near Infinity was playing popular clubs on the west coast of America. Signed to an independent label Monolith Records, they recorded an album and had tour dates scheduled in Europe; but, while these opportunities arose with offers from Sony, PolyGram, and Atlantic Records the band and the indie label eventually fell under like so many before them. Though the guitarist from the band never let go of the burning desire to play music, in 1998 he joined the U.S. Armed Forces and took a long seven year pause from music. The Told was yet to be formed.
