Inspired electric guitar parts combined with soulful vocals. Classic 70's rock and R&B sounds but with a new twist. All original songs - no covers. First class performances and production.
Bio / Background
High energy R&B Rock with taste and style!
After a short jazzy guitar intro, The Big Idea bursts out of the shoot running wide open with the first cut "She's A Mystery" and doesn't let up 'till the album ends. Guitarist Brad Ford plays some smokin' wah-wah guitar solos on this album and veteran Billy Paul sings his heart out - "Straight Talk" sounds like it was lifted off a Stevie Ray album! Drummer Dewayne Grissom establishes some mighty fine grooves and even contributes a couple of awesome vocal performances, ala Phil Collins.
Cool electric guitar and sax solos - excellent vocals - superb production work - this album has it all.
No filler tracks.
Check it out.
