Bio / Background
You will probably notice as you drift through the songs on Color Magic that there is a theme to our pediatric insanity. This collection deals with Family Matters. We talk about the excitement of the first day of Pre-School, (Going to Pre-School) the chaos of having to share a bathroom in a large family, (Bathroom Blues) and the happy exhaustion of Parents attempting to set and maintain Family bedtimes, (The Bedtime Bug) for their Kids. Mr. Sackett the Sock Man is a ludicrous peek into the minds of Mr. Tim and Ms Laura, while Modern Girl inspires young Ladies to follow their dreams. Hamburger Blues is a simple down and dirty blues number that celebrates what we all love...food! Just the 6 of Us was inspired by a pregnant friend of ours who thought for a time, because her tummy grew so large, that she was going to have 17 babies. Our imagination went wild, as we thought of all the babies getting to know each other in Mums Tum and using her as a jungle Gym. And so the song was born.
