Although the album features a treasure trove of great blues tunes, it also showcases inspired live performances of Texas' up and coming blues divas Chonita Turner, Lady Lotion and Jav-Lyn. These Texas Blueswomen walk the walk associated with Etta James, Millie Jackson and Carol Fran, but leave tracks all their own.
