Bio / Background
Emile de Leon of Temple Sounds has been playing percussion professionally for 36 years, and Tibetan Singing Bowls for the last 12 years. He has both produced and played on the much honored and acclaimed Tibetan Singing Bowl CD’s Mystic Bowls in 1999, Shaman Bowls in 2002 and Celestial Bowls, Goddess Bowls, and Meditation Bowls in 2007. He has appeared on radio and TV with the bowls and performed all over the world and is represented in India and Nepal by Pilgrims Book Publishing and many other venues in the US including New Age Bookstores, Yoga Centers, and Music Distribution companies such as Music Design. His music from Mystic Bowls has been featured in the award winning independent movie ‘Taffy was Born’ (Synchronicity Pictures) and has been shown in Cannes Film festival as well as the Toronto/LA/NYC and Sundance film festivals in 2005. Most recently, Mystic Bowls is scheduled to appear on the award-winning hit TV show Grey’s Anatomy in late 2007.

I have always found it difficult to just sit and meditate, yet the disc with the guided ones really helps me focus and stay 'in tune' with what I am trying to achieve. Love the first disc, which is 'just' the 'music' of the singing bowls, and after listening to the guided ones it even easier to 'slip off' to a more relaxed state of being and a world of your own. The music is soft, gentle, yet the effect it has can not be put into words. Just wonderful to have when time comes to close the windows and leave all the stresses of the world behind for a while...
