Bio / Background
Born on Sunday December 25, 1977, I was raised by my parents Lonnie and Marganette Epps. I was born in Baltimore, Maryland in what was then Baltimore City Hospital, now named Johns Hopkins Hospital at Bayview. I have 1 brother named Vernell Epps, who is now 20 years old.
I graduated from Milford Mill Academy in June of 1995. I then went on to college at Catonsville Community College, where I majored in Office Technology. I attended C.C.C. from September of 1995 through May of 1998.
I am currently employed by the State of Maryland at the Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulations in downtown Baltimore. My position is Office Appliance Clerk, and I work in the mailroom. I've been working with the state since November of 1998. I also have a part-time job working with The Wilburn Company in Linthicum, Maryland as a housekeeper. I've been employed with them since June of 2004.
Musically, I come from a family full of musicians.
↓ more ↓My father is a guitarist, and my mother is a singer. I have a lot of uncles who are also musicians. My brother also plays keyboard and drums. I started playing for my then church, God's People Union Worship Center in January of 1994. I played there until I left that church in April of 2001. I then started playing at my current church, Liberty Grace Church of God in June of 2001. I currently play the organ for my church. I've also played keyboard and piano for the church.
Music has always been a part of my life, from being in the school band every year from 3rd grade until I graduated high school. I've been playing in the church since 1994, and I'm going to continue doing that. I released a CD entitled "Emotions" back in October of 2002, and it sold very well. That's what inspired me to do another one. The first CD was a double CD with all original music, and this one is half original music and half gospel hymns. I've been selling them locally as I did with the first CD, and I've done pretty well, especially in the church community.
I hope you listen to the little snippets of the album and like what you hear. I promise you that this is one of the smoothest CD's you'll ever hear, and I hope you enjoy.
