Bio / Background
System Kid is a four piece rock band playing music for the thinking class. Assembled near Los Angeles, their sound features driving guitar and stirring piano over a syncopated groove. The influence of U2 and Radiohead translate to strong melodies and intelligent song structure. Ray Rodriguez colors the band's signature sound with a choir of dynamic guitars. Jared Anderson delivers lyrics drawn from a complex personal history in a voice set apart. Bassist Evan Troxel's credentials in architecture and academia supply composition while Bart Welt's skill with design brings focus to his drumming.
