Firma Entertainment Inc. is proud to announce the release of the new SVETI album, entitled “Where I Come From”. Marko Djordjevic, who MD magazine calls a “drumming star”, leads a group which features the hottest names on todays modern jazz scene. Mr. Djordjevic is joined by Lionel Loueke, Aaron Goldberg, Gregoire Maret, Elliot and Brad Mason, Matt Pavolka and Gretchen Parlato in masterfully creating a variety of moods and textures, from the burnin’ quartet rendition of Belgrade Bop, to the lyrical My Lucky Number. The first two SVETI albums have established Marko Djordjevic as a powerhouse instrumentalist and improviser. “Where I Come From” features him as a highly seasoned musician, and a composer in a true sense of the word.
