Recordings include composer Lior Navok?s CD Hidden Reflections as well as her own CDs, Baroque Dedications, Dizzy Fingers, Remembering Sigurd Rascher and Americas. She has performed for Army Generals, His Eminence Archbishop Demetrios, Secretary of the Interior, ambassadors of Israel, China, Greece and Cyprus. She is constantly challenging and expanding the perceived limits of her instrument, as a performer of new music, world music, styles from other performance periods, and collaborations with composers resulting in premiere performances of works specifically written for her. She is credited for the US East Coast premiere performance of Dimitri Terzakis? Der Holle Nachklang. Her concerts have received enthusiastic responses. Styliani is also featured in the International Biographical Centre's Who's Who in the 21st Century. Invited to perform in the 2003 World Saxophone Congress XIII, and at Walter Auditorium (New York Performing Arts Library at Lincoln Center) for the Hellenic Festival.
Besides performing as a concert saxophonist, Styliani has performed as a woodwind player in the Broadway pits of New York City and in other shows and venues. She also performs with Pianist Yannis Xylas. Her saxophone clinics emphasize the Rascher Saxophone Method, and her own method that includes other woodwinds. Her systematic method outlines how to master tone, rhythm and the development of effortless technique through song. Her further Pedagogic work, to demonstrate, lecture, and write how she developed her range of over four-octaves from the Sigurd Rascher Top-Tones Method.
Styliani holds a doctorate degree from Rutgers University, Master degree in Multiple woodwinds from Florida State University, Bachelor Degree with Honors from the University of Southern Mississippi, and studies at Manhattan School of Music and New England Conservatory.
