PROFILE:
Steven Messenger is making his debut as a contemporary crossover jazz artist - with an edge. He is a multi-instrumentalist and has a knack for producing uncomplicated yet interesting and innovative soundscapes for the ears and mind.
Steven began his career as a musician in the early 70’s touring with some of the rock and soul classics of the time. He is a multi-talented songwriter, composer and musician who plays guitar, bass, keyboards, drums and the EWI (Electronic Wind Instrument). Steven spends most of his time in his studio experimenting with sounds and recording songs that he feels his fans will enjoy as much as he does. His diverse influences include Booker T & the MG’s, John Klemmer, Buddy Rich, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, George Benson, Herb Ellis, BB King, James Taylor, Loggins & Messina.
