Bio / Background
Stereopool is a 3 Piece Band from central Maryland. They are an all original band with a very appealing sound and presence. After being courted by a small indie label for nearly a year with no results, they decided to record their debut on their own- DIY. The record was release June 17, 2005 to a lot of happy fans. With guest appearance from Annapolis' own Bryan Ewald (Pat Dinizio, Warren Zanes, Jarflys) Stereopool has found a very unique yet full sound.
Their songwriting style is eclectic spanning many genre's but rarely sticking to one in particular. Vocal harmonies and lyrical expressions are favored over guitar solos and horn sections and djembe/percussions are more the rule than exception. All in all, they have a solid (if not sometimes quirky) mix of songs delivered with heart.
Stereopool has shared the stage with a host of local and national talented most notably NRBQ.
