Bio / Background
Stephen Heller is an earnest new voice with the ability to create even the most subtle emotions with only his voice, an acoustic guitar, and a pen. Making ample use of a minimalistic singer/songwriter approach, Heller’s voice soars with catchy melodies and lyrics detailing the humanity of making one’s way through life’s unpredictable twists and turns.
His sound is a thoughtful fusion of influences from of other like-minded composers such as Weezer, Jimmy Eat World, Rufio, Third Eye Blind, Matchbook Romance, Hawthorne Heights, Saves The Day, Taking Back Sunday, Hoobastank, Incubus, Saosin, Jack's Mannequin, and The Fray, yet the final product is distinctly “STEPHEN HELLER.”
A prolific songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, HELLER is currently at work on his debut, full-length CD entitled, “From East to West,” and judging by the overwhelming fan support at live performances, it will be met with critical acclaim.
