Steff Mahan plays a mix of roots, rock and folk and carves out a style all her own. Recent breakthroughs include opening for Patty Griffin and being interviewed by Jim Kerr on Sirius Radio. The Nashville City Paper calls Steff "a wicked-cool singer/songwriter. Billboard hails her as "an entertaining can't-miss performance."
Steff is happiest when she is on the road in “Beulah” the mighty, mighty blue mini-van. To say she “loves” her job is an understatement. Steff is passionate! Not only about her music, but about every single person she meets. While she may come into a town not knowing a soul, she rarely leaves without having friends. But she will also admit sheepishly that her traveling is also a way to find the country's best coconut cream pie.
