STEEVAN MARS -IF NOT NOW…WHEN?
Singer/songwriter/guitarist, STEEVAN MARS writes songs that are as sad as they are catchy - melody driven pop songs with classic rock undertones and a modern edge. If The Eagles hung out with Death Cab for Cutie and Neil Young wrote songs with U2, it may sound like Steevan Mars….maybe not. Mars’ musical style is truly his own drawing on influences across the rock map from 60’s British invasion to 70’s LA rock to 80’s/90’s Alternative. Listen to the record.
Steevan was formerly the lead singer with studio-alternative/pop band, Joyseed, where he sharpened his songwriting skills, showing early on that he had a strong sense of melody and chord progression -without taking a single music class and only a few guitar lessons. Joyseed recorded more than 20 songs - most of which were Mars’ originals.
