Ambient Dream Pop that is reminiscent of all your favorite bands from the record label 4AD. Ethereal feminine vocals weave a labyrinth of sound over dark romantic soundscapes that come from both electronic and organic instruments.
Bio / Background
Stalking Jane celebrates their One Year Anniversary of playing live with the release of their CD Primitive Side. Stalking Jane has been weaving their labyrinth of ethereal sound around the Portland music scene everywhere from dark, gritty rock clubs to ultra-glam fashion and gallery shows. They have also played on local radio stations such as KBVR, KBOO and KPSU. In their first 12 months they have played over 30 shows in Portland, Corvallis and Seattle. This live recording is from the first of two shows at the Doug Fir Lounge where they opened for Dahlia to a sold out house.
Stalking Jane is drawing a fan base by tantalizing fans from previous projects and acquiring new ones with its inimitable sound and newest recordings; and looks forward to putting on many more dramatic live shows throughout the
Northwest.
