Hyperkinetic emo-fi crackling with corrupted innocence, jangle-free, stripped-down pain on parade in the back of a pretty blue police car. squadcar are the bastard sons of Lou Barlowe and Utada Hikaru.
They're the rookie cop gone bad. They're white bread pop drenched in red wine punk, lost, alone, wandering Tokyo and making beautiful music. And the third album Misses is music for everything missed - for the sneer that turns to a smile as the train pulls away, for the growl that turns to a bubble gum pop song when your inbox is empty again.
They'll pull out your heart, break it in pieces and hand it back with a smile and a yoroshiku onegaishimasu. They're bilingual, beautiful, brilliant and bewildered. And back...
