Tech/prog metal on the edge of insanity. Picture Carl Stalling and Danny Elfman under the influence of 'Clockwork Orange' and Meshuggah while writing music for Steve Vai and Frank Zappa.

Spastic Ink boldly goes where no mere mortals would dare tread. A revolutionary statement “Ink Compatible” is a masterpiece of originality. This entire CD will blow the doors off of the prog-jazz-fusion crowd worldwide. A must have for the serious music connoisseur. (Rating: 5/5)
- Mike Sandomirsky, Guitar Mania
"Ink Compatible" will not satisfy those music consumers seeking an identifiable hook, or some conventional verse-chorus-verse-chorus monotony. This is a shred album, but one that stomps all over the swollen fingers of Yngwie Malmsteen, or the spindly fingers of Steve Vai, or the bluesy fingers of Joe Satriani. May it be carved in granite the truth that Ron Jarzombek is a fret-deity of as much worth as that aforementioned trio, that he is a musicological genius, and that "Ink Compatible" is a befitting showcase of his majesty.
- Aaron Fleming, Blog Critics
If musicianship was the world's currency, Spastic Ink could bring an end to homelessness, stop starvation, offer up a cure for cancer, and buy out a few megacorporations as an afterthought. It's just that simple. This recording is a novelty journey through the world of instrumental absurdity. Ron Jarzombek is, quite simply, the most bizzarely creative guitar hero in existence. Bumblefoot? Hah. Petrucci? Meh. Think PsyOpus is the greatest thing to happen to tech metal? Sorry. Guitar enthusiasts - meet your new obsession.
