Bio / Background
Born and raised in Lawrence, MA. USA. SonChild is the youngest of 4 children. At a very young age his parents knew he was gifted with a special talent. His "Voice". At the time, Only 11 years old, this Puerto Rican/American kid had accomplished more in his life than he ever imagined....
Taking part in a tribute event for the September 11th tradgedy in 2001. This is where it all started. SonChild sang an original song called "To Be A Hero" at a Community event open to the public.. After the response of his performance, his parents decided it was time to take his talent to another level.
In 2002, SonChild landed a record deal with Indie label "LawTown Records". That same year, LawTown released SonChild's debut dance single "MERRY-GO-ROUND". Without any idea of where this song was going to go, it took everyone by storm. Even the crew at LawTown Records. "MERRY-GO-ROUND" went on to become a solid dance floor hit in the UK, Germany, Sweden and Belguim.
