SlingBlade’s "Roadhouse For Sale" is the sophomore release from this four-piece Virginia band and it is smokin'! Great song writing, monster pickin' and meticulous production will make this a must-have for all Roadhouse music fans.
Like the band's first release, "100% Certified Roadhouse Music", this new CD features 12 original songs and, once again, SlingBlade’s genre-bending style is not easily pigeonholed. What would you call it? Americana (on steroids)? Alt. Country? Insurgent Country? Roots Rock? It is some of all and yet so much more that SlingBlade has created the “Roadhouse” genre just to identify this sound. It is guitar-based music with a drum-heavy back beat incorporating influences of Rock, Blues, Country and Bluegrass.
