Bio / Background

The Rocky Mountain sensation Slickrock Gypsies have just released their debut CD Ascension which captures the soulful singing of Gary Stoddard and the fiery sax playing of Kevin Flynn.

They combine the world flavors of latin, celtic, pop, rock, jazz, and R&B into songs with memorable melodies and catchy choruses. The lyrics reflect the band's mission statement to create positive, planet healing music for the new millennium.

The CD offers something for everyone of any age, and could best be described as a conglomeration of the sounds of Dave Matthews, Kenny Loggins, Spyro Gyra, and Bruce Hornsby.
