Bio / Background
Slapdash offers everything you want in their debut CD Reciprocal. There's something fresh and original alongside something more familiar.
Echoing their influences, Slapdash puts across powerful, assertive music, coupled with thoughtful lyrics and vocal harmonies. On the flip-side, Slapdash can also convey a variety of moods, from the fragile and gentle "Wishing Well" and "Unsure," to the no-holds-barred energy of "Elevator" and "Doubt", to the sprawling anthemic majesty of "A Common Destination."
After one listen, you'll want to hear it again...after a few more, you'll rate Reciprocal as one of your favorite CDs!
Positive feedback has so far come from the likes of Peter Gabriel(for "Wishing Well"), Rivers Cuomo, and Robbie Rist (who produced and contributed to the CD).
