Bio / Background

Since 1990, Chicago electro-rock mainstays Sister Machine Gun have been making ground-breaking records and playing incendiary live shows. With four albums on the pioneering Wax Trax! label, and five more on the band's own Positron! Records, SMG's extensive catalog explores just about every genre of modern music, from electro-funk dance to Hendrix-flavored industrial strength rock.

Transient 5.2 is the companion EP to Sister Machine Gun's fifth release, [R]evolution. The EP features 5 original tracks + the TR4K Remix of [R]evolution's "Smash Your Radio!"
