Epiphany, the first release from Singled Out is full of melodic rhythms, catchy guitar hooks, and strong lyrical insight reminisant of 90's era rock. Definately more than you'd ever expect from a band who's average age is just 15.

Singled Out - Bio
Only being together for a year now, Singled Out has been known as one of the hottest younger bands coming out of Southern California, getting amazing reviews, and blowing minds with the talent and effort they give. Being so young is a big advantage for them, it gives them nothing but respect. Being in the Van's Warped Tour '05, and playing their local college stadium, these kids know how to put on a great show, and handle big situations. With having their first full-length album "Epiphany" released in early June. They've been getting massive hype, and great sales. Also having stylish merchandise, that girls & boys love!
HOW IT BEGAN:
It all began when 3 of the members (Kasey, Kenny, Ian) were in 8th grade, they wanted to attempt doing the annual school talent show. So, they had about 2 months to prepare. They could've just covered a song, like the other groups doing the show. But, they wanted to create their own.
↓ more ↓So, Kasey and Kenny started to work together and had some riffs they've made up. So they showed them to eachother and worked around their ideas. But they also needed a bassist and drummer right? Well, this is where Ian came in, he was always a close friend to the guys, so they decided to jam with him, and they created basslines around their song. But they also had a friend who would always come and check them out, who goes by the name of Jordan. They decided to teach him to play the drums for the song, just enough to complete the song, the song being "Welcome".
They played the talent show, and got a great responce, after that, they decided they had to keep doing this, 1: 'cause people really enjoy them, and 2: 'cause they loved doing it as well. But, after about a peroid of 2 months, they had to let go of their drummer Jordan, to increase their speed of progress. So, after a few weeks, Singer:Kasey Herbison, and lead guitarist: Kenny Benson, went to their local Guitar Center, in search for a new drummer, in the drum section. They waited around for about 2 hours, when they saw this rather small kid going insane on the electric drums. Ken and Kasey were really impressed. So, they approched Nathan Morris, and asked if he'd like to come over to practice one day, and try and see what they could do with him.. The next day, with only about 3 hours of practice, Nathan had learned every song they had at the time, and made them sound way better than they already were. After months of practicing, and shows, they went on and went into the recording process of their first debut album "Epiphany". The rest of the history is in the process..
So, have a listen to what they've got, and keep supporting them, they promise to give you all they've got.
